How to use these

Three steps from sample to finished CV

01

Find your field

Pick the sample closest to the job you are applying for. Adjacent roles share most of the same advice, so an exact title match is not required.

02

Read the section breakdown

Each guide covers the header, summary, experience, skills and education in that profession's terms, along with the keywords its recruiters screen on.

03

Write your own

Open the matching template in the editor and draft your version with a live ATS score beside it, then export a PDF that parses cleanly.

Questions

About these samples

Are these resume samples free?

Yes. Every sample and its guide is free to read, with no account needed. Building your CV in the editor is free too; downloading the finished PDF without a watermark needs a plan, which starts at $4.99 for a 7-day pass.

My exact job title is not listed. Which sample should I use?

Pick the closest field. Most of the advice in a sample carries over to adjacent roles, because ATS parsers and recruiters read the same sections in the same order regardless of title. A data analyst, for example, gets most of what they need from the software engineering sample plus the metrics advice in the marketing one.

Can I copy the wording from a sample?

Use the structure and the phrasing patterns, not the sentences. Every bullet in these samples pairs an action with a number from a fictional candidate's record. Copying those numbers into your own CV would misrepresent your experience, and recruiters check.

Will a CV built from these samples pass an ATS?

The layouts are single-column, table-free and export as selectable text, which is what applicant tracking systems parse most reliably. Passing also depends on your content matching the job posting, so each guide lists the keywords that field is screened on, and the editor scores your draft as you write.
