Terms of Service

By accessing or using EvoResume (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

EvoResume provides an online résumé builder with ATS scoring, template selection, PDF export, and optional AI-powered writing assistance. The Service is a paid product. Plans and the features included in each are described on our Pricing page.

You must provide a valid email address or authenticate via Google to use certain features. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at support@evoresume.com.

Registering an account does not by itself grant a paid plan. Without one you may build and edit a résumé and view it in any template, but the on-screen preview carries a watermark and PDF download is unavailable. A paid plan removes the watermark and unlocks downloads, all templates and AI features for the period purchased. We reserve the right to modify the features included in a plan at any time with reasonable notice.

Prices are shown on the Pricing page in US dollars, exclusive of any tax that applies where you live; the tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your card details are handled by Stripe rather than by us.

We currently sell:

• The 7-day pass — a single payment for seven days of full access. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew. When the seven days end, access simply stops and your résumés stay in your account.
• Monthly and yearly plans — recurring subscriptions that renew automatically at the price shown at purchase until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing & Plan, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Downloadable template files — one-time purchases delivered as a download link immediately after payment.

Refunds. Monthly and yearly plans carry a 7-day money-back guarantee: email support@evoresume.com within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. The 7-day pass is not covered, because it is already a short, one-off purchase. Renewals after the first payment are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop the next one.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By starting to use the Service — building, previewing or downloading a résumé, spending an AI credit, or downloading a template file — you ask us to begin supplying that content immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once supply has begun. Our guarantee above is offered in addition to, and does not limit, any right you have under the law where you live.

Downloadable template files are delivered immediately and are therefore non-refundable once the download link has been used, except where the file is faulty or was not what the product page described.

We may change our prices at any time. A change never affects a purchase already made, and for a recurring plan we will tell you before a renewal is charged at a new price.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service

While you are editing, your résumé is held in your browser. Saving a résumé to your account stores that content on our servers so it is available when you sign in again. Using an AI feature sends the relevant text to Google’s Gemini API. Your email address is stored for authentication and for the receipts and sign-in codes we send you. Our Privacy Policy sets out every provider involved, how long we keep things, and how to get your data back or deleted.

AI writing assistance is powered by Google (Gemini). AI-generated content may be inaccurate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before submitting it to employers. EvoResume makes no warranty regarding the accuracy or fitness of AI suggestions.

All résumé content you create remains your own. EvoResume retains all rights to the Service, templates, code, and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial résumé creation.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that résumés created with the Service will result in employment outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EvoResume and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or missed employment opportunities.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date above will be updated accordingly.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
